Her Soul Story
On the journey to finding yourself, sometimes others find you…
I am woman… hear me ROAR! I have never thought of myself as a powerful woman, hard headed and determined, yes, but not someone to inspire others. Since a young age, I have always surrounded myself with older people, probably because most of my family and cousins were 10 years older. I soaked in all their conversations, the good and the bad. I was a sponge. Now I know where my son Maguire gets it from. As I have grown into an adult, I have always been drawn to powerful women. Women who are striving to live their lives and fulfill their dreams. Women who are confident and radiate beauty from the inside. Women who have struggled and triumphed. Their energy draws me in and I feel alive and see the world differently when I am around them.
My breath was taken away and excitement filled my body, almost in a nervous way when I read the words written by a friend. Late in bed as I sat awake, I read a post that has now forever changed my life. Without thinking, I sent Tayne a message. I told her I didn’t even know what her post was really about, what she was doing, but I wanted to learn more, I needed more. We had several conversations, shared our passions and our journeys. I learned that night that I was one of these STRONG women that I am always seeking out. I am powerful and strong and beautiful and brave… still working on the confident.
I was honored and humbled to be asked to take part of Her Soul Story. I, along with 10 women and 1 man, here to empower his daughter, are grateful to to be a part of this. This MOVEMENT is going to change lives and I can’t wait to share it with all of you.
